HERITAGE PARK (NHP). DAY
Shiny object can be seen. Person runs and
trips over object. Grunting is heard.

Two STUDENTS are walking into the building.
Both of them are wearing uniform appropriate to the school. One is carrying a
rucksack, another has an over shoulder bag. Traffic is heard.

4. INT. CREATIVE
EXCHANGE. DAY
The Two STUDENTS are seen walking through
the turnstiles at the school. The one
with the rucksack shows the size by
moving it to the side of the turnstile as he goes through. They then walk left of the turnstiles and off camera.
STUDENT 1 (DAN)
Did you see the news last night? Apparently
this artefact was heard to be in Sheffield,
and
there is a reward for finding it. It
looks quite important.
STUDENT 2 (JOE)
No I didn’t actually, sounds interesting
though.
Imagine if we found it.
DAN
Here I’ll show you in a sec.

5. INT. CREATIVE
EXCHANGE. DAY.
The two STUDENTS proceed to a table where
they sit down. Dan pulls a laptop
from his bag, and loads the news. Joe appears
interested in the article. Light chatter is heard in the background.
DAN
Look here. (reading from news page) An
important relic wanted by scientists
is believed to be located around the
Sheffield area. Anyone who brings forward
the relic could receive up to £87,000.
Scientists are reluctant to say why the
relic is so treasured, but assure that it is
only the age of the relic that generated
this hefty price tag.
JOE
So you’re saying that if we find this relic,
even though we have no idea what it looks
like,
we could get £87,000?
DAN
It seems that way (laughing). Keep your eyes
peeled then!
[School bell goes]
JOE
I got maths now, catch you in a bit!
DAN
See Ya.

6. EXT. NHP.
EVENING.
The STUDENTS are walking through NHP in the
evening, walking home from school.
Their shirts are untucked and uniform
messy. As they are walking they hear a rustling in the trees, and see something shiny on the floor. The two students are inaudibly speaking.
DAN
Hey can you see that over there (points to
the shiny object)?
JOE
It’s probably just some foil or something,
you
know how much people chuck away during
the day.
DAN
Naa it seems to bright for foil (walking
closer to object)
JOE
Hmm yeah I guess your right, can you see what
it is?
DAN
(Now above the object looking at it) It looks
like some sort of cup or something, here Joe,
your mum would probably like that for her
fireplace
collection (Dan begins laughing, picks up the
object and throws it to Joe)
JOE
(unimpressed by the joke) Haha good one you
spaz.
To be fair it does look pretty expensive
though.
Ill keep on to it. (Joe puts the cup in
his rucksack and carries on walking. Dan
follows).
The STUDENTS walk off. As they do a BLACK
FIGURE can
be seen in the treeline, it watches the
students,
then turns around sharply and walks off.

7. EXT. DUCHESS RD
BASKETBALL COURT. DAY.
The STUDENTS turn up to play basketball on
the basketball pitch. The STUDENTS put their bag’s and other items of clothing
(Tie etc) down next to the bags, and begin to practise basketball.
DAN
(walking up to the basketball court)
What’s the record to beat this time?
FOLLOW SHOT OF STUDENTS
JOE
(thinking) … I think it was 15 last time,
but I
don’t know for sure. Let’s try
and get 20 instead, that’ll be difficult
to beat.
CAMERA FOCUS’ ON THE
STUDENTS PUTTING THEIR
BAG ON THE FLOOR
DAN
(throwing basketball at hoop)
What were you up to at school today? I
Got a D in my maths, but Charles only
got a C so I think I did well actually.
LOW ANGLE SHOT FOR

JOE
(collecting basketball and
throwing it to Dan)
Yeah I got my result back as well,
I got 42 out of 50 I think, so it was
Like a B or something. I heard
It was pretty difficult.
(Dan throws the basketball
and misses)
MEDIUM SHOT OF COLLECTING
BASKETBALL THEN
LONG SHOT OF BOTH STUDENTS PLAYING
DAN
(sighing) Shit, that one was pretty
close to be honest.
The camera cuts from the STUDENTS to a
secluded location, that overlooks the basketball pitch. The main focus is on
the STUDENTS bag.
SHADOW FIGURE
(heavy breathing is heard)
Tu jest. Muszę go przed nimi.
[Translation] There it is. I need to get
it before the others do.
A POV SHOT AND THE SHADOW FIGURE CAN
BE HEARD AS A VOICE OVER
The camera returns to the STUDENTS who are
still playing basketball. A rustling is heard in the secluded area and the
students look over.
DAN
(Grabbing the basketball from a missed
attempt)
Did you hear that? I’m sure I just heard
Something!
JOE
(Looking over to where Dan is looking)
Yeah I must admit I though I heard
It too. It was probably nothing though,
After all, it is a pretty windy day!
DAN
(Throwing the basketball again towards the
hoop, this time a successful shot is made)
I dunno, probs nothing like, Ey did you
See that? What a sick shot!
MEDIUM SHOTS FOR
THE STUDENTS PLAYING BASKETBALL.
CLOSE UP SHOT REVERSE SHOT FOR THE
STUDENTS DISCUSSING ABOUT HEARING SOMETHING.
JOE
Yeah let me have a go… (turns
Around and sees bag is gone). Hey
He’s running off with my bag!

OF HOODED FIGURE TAKING BAG.
DAN
Oi dickhead, get back here with
that bag now! (chasing after
The hooded figure). Come on
Joe he can’t get away.
The STUDENTS chase after the hooded figure.
FOLLOW SHOT OF STUDENTS CHASING. AT
ABOUT HALF WAY, CAMERA STOPS
AND WATCHES AS THE HOODED
FIGURE AND STUDENTS TURN OFF.
8. EXT. EYRE LANE.
TURNING EVENING
The STUDENTS have chased the HOODED FIGURE
through to Eyre Lane. They appear exhausted and one of them is on their mobile
phone to the ‘police’, stating their bag has been stolen.
DAN
(Exhausted) Yeah police, someone’s nicked
my mates bag and Is running off with it.
(pause. Slowing down) I’m on, errrr…
JOE
(The two come to a stop) It’s Eyre lane.
FOLLOW SHOT
DAN
…errr Eyre lane. (moving away
from the phone and looking
at Joe). I can’t keep this up,
he’s way to fast.
JOE
Fuck! I need that bag, it’s got
my phone in! What’s police saying?
TWO SHOT
DAN
Yeah we can’t keep up any more
We’ve ran half way across the city
As it is. (pause) It’s a black
Rucksack, and its got his mobile
Phone in as well. (pause) Oh really,
That’s alright then.
SHOT REVERSE SHOT
JOE
What’d they say?
DAN
(Moving from phone) They said
they can track the bag from
your phone, they just need your
phone number.
SHOT REVERSE SHOT
JOE
Passes phone over then.
DAN
Yeah I’ll put him on now. He’ll
Give you the number.
JOE
(taking phone of Dan) Hello.
Yeah its 01284 986322. Thanks.
Thanks. Alright then, bye.
CLOSE UP
MUFFLED VOICE OVER HEARD FROM POLICE EDITIED IN.
DAN
What are they going to do?
JOE
They said they’ll look into it. I’m
Off home. This running’s done
Me in.
TWO SHOT.
9. INT. CREATIVE
EXCHANGE. DAY
The lesson bell goes and the STUDENTS head to
sit at a table in the creative exchange. DAN has his laptop out, and is looking
at the news again. Another story has appeared about the artefact now being
stolen or lost and is not where the scientists thought was.
ESTABLISHING SHOT OF
CREATIVE EXCHANGE SEEN.
SLOW ZOOM ONTO STUDENTS SITTING DOWN.
CAMERA PANS RIGHT TO FOCUS ON
THE STUDENTS SITTING DOWN.
DAN
(sitting down) Joe, you heard owt about your
bag
yet?
JOE
Naa nothing yet mate. Probs won’t get it back
Like.
DAN
Yeah well I think you will. And I have
A clear reason to why!
JOE
Really? Why’s that then, it didn’t have
Owt in it that’s worth anything anyway.
SHOT REVERSE SHOT
DAN
Look at this. (pointing to
His laptop [news story is on])
OVER SHOULDER SHOT. LAPTOP SCREEN
CAN BE SEEN.
JOE
Artefact is no longer where scientists
Thought. (Dan scrolls down the page)
Scientists who had almost 100% confirmation
About the artefact’s location are stumbled,
After it went missing from its location.
The artefact, a golden cup, was believed
To have been located here, in Sheffield’s
Norfolk heritage park where it can no
Longer be found. (Joe looks up to Dan)
So you’re sayin that what we found was
The artefact?
DAN
Looks that way, so there’s £87,000 in
That bag of yours. That hooded figure
Probably knew you had it, so you better
Call the police back and tell them what’s
In your bag.
SHOT REVERSE SHOT.
JOE
Shit yeah, lets go into that other
Room where no one else will hear!
JOE and DAN head to a nearby room, also in
the school, which is empty. A few other students glance over, but look back to
their work after the STUDENTS walk off.
CAMERA PANS LEFT TO SEE STUDENTS
ENTERING ROOM.
10. INT. FESTO ROOM
UTC. DAY
The STUDENTS are seen entering the room, as
they do so they shut the door behind them. JOE pulls up his phone to ring the
police, but as he does so, an unknown caller rings his phone. He answers
cautiously.
STUDENTS SHUT DOOR. CAMERA SEEN BEHIND THE DOOR
WITH THE STUDENTS INSIDE.
DAN
Who’s that?
CLOSE UP
JOE
Don’t know to be honest, its got no caller
ID, just coming through as unknown.
OVER SHOULDER SHOT OF UNKNOWN
CALLER.
DAN
Probably answer it, it might be that the
Police have found something to do do with
Your bag.
JOE
Yeah you could be right, (he answers).
Hello?
UNKNOWN VOICE OVER
Hello, I have your bag, and I must tell
You why. The artefact you found is an
Ancient device capable of controlling
The weather of a 300-mile radius around
the device. If the government get their
hands on it, it could spark a war between
the UK and different countries. They want
it to increase Taxes, and everyone would
have to fall to them if they gain it….

MEDIUM CLOSE UP OF JOE.
JOE
(interrupting)
…wait wait wait. If this is true, even
though I don’t believe you in the slightest,
how do I know you are not going to use it
for bad?
UNKNOWN VOICE OVER
You can trust me as I was seconds behind
You in claiming it, before you picked it
Up for a laugh. If I did get my hands on it,
Which I do right now anyway, I could have
Quite easily used the power to do bad if I
Wanted to. You must trust me, we don’t have

JOE

DAN

JOE

I don’t have a clue if he has, but he knew

DAN
(laughing) And you believe him? I don’t know
who’s more stupid, him for saying it or you
for believing it.
JOE
He said meet at Christer tunnels. I don’t
know
What to do. If he has my bag, I want it back.
DAN
True True, lets get going then.
SHOT REVERSE SHOT OF
STUDENTS TALKING. AS STUDENTS LEAVE
THE CAMERA IS BEHIND THE SHUT DOOR AGAIN.
11. INT. UTC BUNKER.
DARK
A Computer screen can be seen with a blip on
a tracking interface. A person can be seen controlling the computer but their
face can’t be seen. They are watching the blip closely. They are also on the
phone, speaking to another unknown person.
UNKNOWN PERSON [COMPUTER AGENT]
They know about the artefact, we don’t have
Much time. Alert Romeo, he need to get to
Them kids now. We can’t lose it again.
OVER SHOULDER SHOT OF PERSON TALKING.
UNKNOWN PERSON [AGENT] VOICE OVER
I’m nearing the position now. They won’t
Get away.
EDIT BLIPS ON SCREEN.
SLOW ZOOM ON BLIPS.
12. EXT. OUTSIDE UTC
SHEFFIELD. DAY
The STUDENTS head outside to look for their
bag, as they do so, a man in a suit [AGENT] comes around the corner and stands
in the way of the STUDENTS.
ESTABLISHING SHOT OF UTC SHEFFIELD FRONT.
STUDENTS SEEN WALKING OUT. CAMERA FOLLOWS.
AGENT
Joe, Dan. I’m with the police and we’ve
Found your bag. We’re currently going
To get it so if you’d kindly head back
Inside school, and leave it to me, you’ll
Have your bag back in no time.
CLOSE UP OF AGENT.
DAN
If you know where it is why can’t
We just go and get it?
AGENT
The individual who has your bag is dangerous
And for this reason we must take it from
here.
Don’t worry, your bag will be back within the
Hour.
SHOT REVERSE SHOT.
The day starts fading and the sky gets very
dark. The students see the agent put his hands towards his back, and a glimpse
of his gun is seen.
EDIT SKY GETTING DARK. REVERSE SHOT OF
AGENT SHOWING GUN.
AGENT
Please would you kindly return inside now.
NOW!
REVERSE TWO SHOT OF STUDENTS.
DAN
(whispering), he has a gun, we need to get
to your bag. That crazy dude sounds to
be pretty right with the weather just
changing
like that.
CLOSE UP.
JOE
Run for it.
The STUDENTS run away as the AGENT calls back
with his earpiece
AGENT (to earpiece)
The Kids know, they’re running for the
Bag now. Get all units on for the
Artefact, I’m going for the kids.
CLOSE UP.
FOCUS ON EARPIECE.
12. EXT. EYRE LANE.
MODIFIED NIGHT
The STUDENTS are running down Eyre lane, and
are out of breath, but continue to run anyway. They are talking whilst running,
their exhaustion can be heard in their voice. Sirens can be heard in the
background.
SLOW MOVEMENT OF CAMERA UP TO
STUDENTS.
JOE
Is he still following us?
DAN
I don’t know, how much further
Have we got to go?
JOE
God knows. It’s just over here.
REVERSE TWO SHOT.
The STUDENTS run straight on, when the AGENT
arrives at the street, he sees the STUDENTS running straight on. He calls HQ.
AGENT
The kids are going straight on
I’m going to cut them off by taking a
Shortcut. Alert the other teams.
REVERSE SHOT OF AGENT. CAMERA
STATIC AS AGENT RUNS OFF.
13. EXT. EYRE RD
ROUNDABOUT. MODIFIED NIGHT
The STUDENTS walk through the tunnel into the
middle of the roundabout area. The BLACK FIGURE can be seen over at the
opposing tunnel, he holds the artefact in his hands, the STUDENTS walk up to
him.
CAMERA SLOW MOVE THROUGH THE TUNNEL. QUITE
LOW ANGLE. EDITED LIGHT AS STUDENTS
APPEAR FROM THE DARK TUNNEL. EMPASIZING THE
CONTRAST IN COLOURS.
HOODED FIGURE
Your bag is over there. (he points towards
The bag). You should get it and go. It’s
Going to get dangerous.
LONG SHOT OF STUDENTS AND HOODED
FIGURE.
JOE
The government is after you, you should get
Out whilst you can.
CLOSE UP.
HOODED FIGURE
A fight needs to happen, it’s too late
To run now. Get out whilst you can.
The AGENT can be seen running through one of
the tunnels.
LOW ANGLE SHOT OF AGENT RUNNING THROUGH
TUNNEL.
AGENT
Put the artefact down and your
Hands up. This is your only
Chance.
CLOSE UP OF AGENT.
HOODED FIGURE
Then it will be a chance to return the
Artefact where it came from.
CLOSE UP OF HOODED FIGURE.
The FIGURE throws the artefact down on the
ground, it smashes and a green glow appears from the artefact. Gun shots can be
heard and the camera cuts to black.
TWO SHOT OF THE CONFRONTATION.
EDITED SLOW MOTION OF FIGURE THROWING DOWN ARTIFACT
AND IT SMASHING.
FADE TO GREEN, THEN TO BLACK.
